In her final days our Beauty Queen Governor has had a few picnics. I missed the Wasilla event, but you betcha I made the Anchorage soiree--quite an event! The food line was long, Sue and I waited about an hour and a half and it hardly moved--so we just squeezed through the paparazzi and managed to get some good photos! The rain held off, thank goodness--Sarah might have melted she's so sweet! Or even worse, it may have messed up her hairdo--Tee-Hee!
It was very festive--some sort of military band was playing jazz tunes as our beloved governor passed out hotdogs and burgers. I'd say a few wieners passed by her today!! There were folks that love her and folks not so fond of her milling about the park--but all in all, I think we were all there to bid her a "FOND GOODBYE"!
But the big question remains...Do you think she will go away??????
