Honestly, I am a Teacher--Not just playing one!

It was Open House this past week at Mears Middle School. I was dressed in my finest teacher garb and had a big smile on my face!! Two an half weeks down--how many more to go? Note my awesome Smartboard and brand new textbooks--I had to show those off to the parents. Everything in the text is online as well--I can also project all onto to my "very" smartboard--and write on it as well--in colors no less! WORKSHEET MANIA--here we come LOL! Totally awesome--especially since I figured out how to use it all by myself!

Next to my desk is my Michigan wall--whenever I get homesick I just look at the wall of pictures--you are all there!

My new room is awesome--I have 3 big windows and a view of the mountains. I just love it!

Larry is off moose hunting for 2 weeks, so I am staying at Rabbit Creek B & B (Denise's) during the week. He already got one, so we can eat this winter. I just hope we can harvest enough taters from the garden to hold us over. Thanks goodness for the caribou he got last month--we can trade off vermin for supper! Ha ha, just kidding--I'm not that "backwoods" yet?!? We do have taters though! And Larry brought me back some caribou antlers (shed) from his trip. He kept the "rack" from our soon to be meals. It might turn into another coat rack or perhaps a towel rack for the bathroom, or maybe a flannel PJ rack? The decorating possibilities are endless...
